Dear Rachel,
It seems most of my matches on JDate are culturally Jewish, not practicing members. I am Modern Orthodox and am looking for someone with shared values and practices.
Will it be worth my investment to subscribe to JDate? In other words, are there like-minded men available for me to meet on the site?

My search results include about 30 men, of whom almost all say they keep kosher “not at all”. So I’m down to four possibilities, all of whom are looking for someone younger than I am.
It sounds to me as if jdate would be a waste of money for me.
Do you still think it’s worth my while to pay to contact either the men who have no interest in me, or the one man who has expressed interest in me but who is almost certainly one who keeps kosher “not at all”???
