We met on JDate at the perfect point in our growth, and now we get to spend the rest of our lives growing – both individually and together.
In 2010, Stacey’s father encouraged her to give JDate a try. Stacey’s original subscription was about to expire when she received a message from Jason.
Their advice for current JDaters® would be to have an open mind. Be willing to put yourself out there and meet people. Be 100% honest in your profile: make it truthful, say exactly what you want and describe what you are looking for. Put the effort into JDate and be committed to emailing people, responding back to people that email you, and going out on dates – even if you think they might not be the perfect match. Who knows… they just might be!
Fast forward to today: Wendy and Yuval are now getting married on Sunday, August 11, 2013, a year and eight months after their first conversation on JDate.
Coming closer to the glass door, Cristina saw a room full of candles. Once inside, Kevin got down on one knee and, with a beautiful speech, asked Cristina to marry him and be his forever. With a huge smile, Cristina said yes.
In late 2010, Rebecca moved to Pennsylvania to start her career as an engineer in the medical device industry. Really wanting to meet someone and fall in love, and seeing that she knew no one in this city, her oldest sister encouraged her to try JDate.
We both know how lucky we are to have each other, and we are so excited to continue building our life together. Thank you, JDate, for helping two soul mates find each other online that one late night in May!
I was the only girl Jason ever met from JDate, and my sister and her husband also met on JDate. I think it’s safe to say that we are all definitely JDate Success Stories!
We talked on and off through JDate for four years; neither one of us wanted to make the first move. We both lived at home and were working to further ourselves in our careers. Finally, in 2011 it was all or nothing.
I was one who made the first move. It was Mother’s Day in May of 2010 when I initiated contact with Jason on JDate. I think I made some clever comment about “The Jewish mother’s ideal Mother’s Day celebration, sitting side-by-side with her son, perusing JDate for the girl she would like to bare her grandchildren…”
