It all began with Gail developing the chutzpah to send Steve a message on JDate with the subject line “A Yellow to a Yellow.” Both Gail and Steve had been classified as “yellow” personalities by the Color Code Personality Test each took at the start of their JDate experience.
After a nerve-racking rain delay, at the end of the 4th inning, he grabbed her arm and pointed to the scoreboard, where appeared a message from one pet name to another, asking her to marry him.

Four years ago, I showed up at a bar in the East Village to meet Mandy, a girl I had been talking to on JDate. Most of the date was pretty awkward, and we didn’t have much in common except hailing from New Jersey.
Joining JDate seemed a smart thing to do (after all, I’m proud of my faith, our heritage and wish to keep it). Plus, it was fun!

While the two were sitting on the couch, Andrew told Lindsay that he was supposed to meet another girl from JDate on the night they met, but he made up a cheesy excuse and cancelled so he could to enjoy more time with Lindsay. The rest is history!

For Jeff and Danielle’s first date, they went out for a sushi dinner and hit it off! After dating for just shy of a year and a half, Jeff proposed on a carriage ride in New York City’s Central Park.
