Joining JDate seemed a smart thing to do (after all, I’m proud of my faith, our heritage and wish to keep it). Plus, it was fun!
I am so happy that I decided to join JDate! It turned out that Mark was living just 20 minutes away from me for years, and we even graduated from the same university!
While the two were sitting on the couch, Andrew told Lindsay that he was supposed to meet another girl from JDate on the night they met, but he made up a cheesy excuse and cancelled so he could to enjoy more time with Lindsay. The rest is history!
For the next year and ten months, their relationship remained long-distance. They saw each other once a month, for just one weekend at a time (since they were students, they couldn’t afford to see each other in person more often than that). They used Skype almost every night to talk to each other.

For Jeff and Danielle’s first date, they went out for a sushi dinner and hit it off! After dating for just shy of a year and a half, Jeff proposed on a carriage ride in New York City’s Central Park.
I never imagined it was possible to be this happy every single day of my life! My two children and my two “bonus” children all get along great, and we’re all so happy and thankful for JDate!
I knew from that night on that we had something good. He said the sweetest things and made me feel really special. I will never forget our first kiss as we were waiting for the car by the valet.
Seth had seen that I was online and decided to IM me (that was his preferred method of contacting girls). We chatted for a long time about life, our friends, families, professions, music, etc.
I made my profile on JDate and marked my religious status as, “willing to convert.” I knew that was going to be my path, regardless of my dating status.
