I have known this man for years and he has always liked me. However, I’m not attracted to him. My problem is that I know if I was to give him a chance, he would treat me right. He would take care of me.
I’m traveling next week and reached out to a gentleman in the area I’m visiting. We’re going to meet for a drink, but now I’m wondering the best way to ask for his last name.
I recently met a wonderful man who seems like a great catch. He’s nice, smart, funny, would make a great husband – and I’m pretty sure he’s into me! Here’s the problem: I’m just not attracted to him (mostly because he’s shorter than me).
A man I was dating wanted to make love to me and I asked if it is acceptable or considered a “sin” (he is an Orthodox Jew). He told me that Judaism does not talk against it, saying that if both people are single, it is ok. I am not sure I trust him about it. When I first joined JDate in late November, I began to see a pattern where I would have great, positive contact with several guys — but they would not ask me out! A meeting would always be discussed, but there were issues of drive time, schedules, etc. Yet, during this time, these guys would call, text, and IM constantly, which would wear me out and frustrate me! Any suggestions?
On a first date, am I required to bring flowers or a corsage? Or can I just show up empty-handed?
I am writing to ask you what I should do about my listed relationship status. I separated from my husband a year ago and I am waiting for my divorce to become final. I listed “divorced” as my JDate profile status, but it seems misleading, as does “separated.” Do you have any advice on what to use?
I went on a first date with a successful man. He asked me out by saying, “I have a birthday coupon somebody gave me, and I might as well use it.” I was particularly taken aback when the man asked the waiter if there were any exclusions to the expiration date. Am I crazy? Is it really acceptable to use a coupon on the first date, and then go on to grill the waitress about its exceptions?!
