Chicago, IL – Uptown Cafe, an Anti-hunger Program sponsored by The Jewish United Fund (JUF)
JDate members from around Chicago rolled up their sleeves to lend an evening to the Jewish United Fund’s anti-hunger program, the JUF Uptown Cafe. Volunteers served hot kosher meals to disadvantaged residents. The Uptown Cafe creates a warm, dignified environment by providing guests with food and friendly conversation. The program is Chicago’s first large-scale kosher meal program for Jews and non-Jews alike.
