JDate brings together Conservative Jewish singles locally and afar
Hundreds of thousands of happy Jewish online daters can’t be wrong! JDate is one of the nation’s best tried-and-true Jewish dating sites.
JDate understands how important your Jewish faith is to you as one of the nation’s many Conservative Jewish singles. It’s important that you find someone who treasures the Jewish holidays, customs and traditions in the same way you do. On JDate, it’s our mission to make sure you meet likeminded men and women because that common ground creates strong, long-lasting Jewish couples. We know that approaches to Judaism differ. We embrace those differences and make it easy for you to find others who share your same approach. If you don’t feel like you would click with Conservative Jewish singles, then you might try searching for Reform Jewish singles. Or perhaps you’re one of many Orthodox Jewish singles ready to meet their beshert.
JDate sets itself apart from other online dating sites because our profile creation process is quick, yet highlights all that’s important to you. These specifics are key to helping us narrow down your best Conservative dating matches. Plus, JDate’s foundation is built on growing the local and global Jewish community, one relationship at a time.
Online dating is an adventure, so we offer the latest expert tips and advice for the best experience. If you have questions, our Customer Service team is dedicated to being with you the entire way… and to making your journey 100% rewarding!
“After this, I definitely recommend JDate and have spoken to people about the importance of having an open mind, widening their search preferences and looking for more than a “hot” guy in their matches. Sometimes people look better in person than in their picture!”
It has always been a challenge for me, as an observant Jew, comfortable in both the Orthodox and Conservative worlds, to meet someone I felt comfortable with religiously. By widening my search I had to accept the possibility of meeting and talking with people who were in various places religiously (maybe even divorced or with children) because maybe, just maybe, I was preventing myself from finding the right person by being too exclusive.
In February of 2011, I found Eli’s profile. We finally decided to meet on March 23, 2011 at the Starbucks in Englewood, New Jersey where I lived. After the first date, there were never any games. I never even doubted his interest. Within the first month of us dating, I went to a Pesach Seder at his brother’s house and he began visiting my community for Shabbat. It’s hard to remember the minyan without him.
Eli and I went to visit his family in Florida with his kids in April of 2012 (just after our one-year anniversary). He asked me to marry him (with his kids also) while on one knee on the way out of the Universal Studios theme park after we finished a matzah-sandwich dinner. After this, I definitely recommend JDate and have spoken to people about the importance of having an open mind, widening their search preferences and looking for more than a “hot” guy in their matches. Sometimes people look better in person than in their picture!
