How did you meet? What was your first date like?
We talked for months online and then decided to meet for Ethiopian food and a visit to the Raleigh Art Museum. There were sparks and a strong connection, and even a good omen—an otter in the pond!

Rebecca came to West Virginia, and we talked about the future while sitting alongside the river.
What can you tell us about the proposal?
It was an anniversary surprise atop Grandview Overlook at New River Gorge National Park.
What can you tell us about the wedding?
It was a big Jewish wedding with Appalachian and Indian flair, held at a beautiful venue with mountain views just outside Mt. Airy, NC.
What advice would you give other JDate members who are still looking for love?
There is a beshert for you too! Have patience and know someone out there is looking for you the same way you are looking for them.
