Carli and Oded

Dear JDate,

Both Oded and I believed it was very important to date someone Jewish. This is what led to us both to joining JDate. Oded and I met in February of 2008. We only talked on JDate and on the phone for less than a week before we met.

He was living in Ft. Lauderdale and I was living in Sarasota.  He came in for the weekend and basically the rest is history…

However, before he met me, he had decided to move back to Israel. And, so after dating for a few months, we did the “long distance” relationship before I eventually decided to move to Israel to be with him.

We lived in Israel for a year and then came back to the United States. We will be moving back to Israel in a few years.

One month to the day exactly after our second year of dating, Oded proposed. If it were not for JDate, I never would have met Oded.

He came into my life and brought the light and warmth that I had been missing. Thank you JDate for helping me to find my soul mate!  We will be getting married this summer and cannot wait to begin our life together!
