Amy and Ryan first connected on Jdate before finding common ground on the shuffleboard court. Now, they are happily married! Jdate is thrilled to have played a part in their love story and wishes them every happiness. Mazel tov!
What can you tell us about your wedding?
“Ryan and I were supposed to have a big Jewish wedding. Due to Covid, we had to rethink our wedding plans. We went back and forth as to whether to postpone or stride forward but we weren’t going to let the pandemic stop our love.
We had a smaller Jewish wedding ceremony surrounded by immediate family and two witnesses. It was a perfect Manhattan day and honestly I couldn’t imagine it any other way.”
How did you meet? What was your first date like?
“We met on Jdate of course. We went to Royal Palms shuffleboard and there was an instant connection, right away we were flirting and showing our competitive side on the court.”
Describe the moment you knew it was true love!
“I forgot my wallet on Valentine’s day. Ryan was very sweet and caring and made sure I got home safely despite not having my ID or money. That’s the caliber of people on Jdate.”
What advice would you give other Jdate members, who are still looking for love?
“Be patient. I dated a lot of fish before I found my one.”
