We went on the best and last first date for both of us! After talking at the table for a long time getting to know one another our conversation was easy and just so much fun!
Brian took me to a small romantic Italian restaurant on the upper east side of NYC. The wait approached us several times to order and we had such a great time getting to know one another we kept forgetting to look at the menu!
Describe the moment you knew it was true love!
3 weeks after our first date was New Years Eve. We looked at each other in a crowded bar and told one another we were falling in love with each other.
We came back to my apartment where we were celebrating with a small group of my friends and Brian then told everyone but this time next year we will be engaged! I know… CRAZY!
A few weeks after that I was on vacation in Florida and all I kept thinking about how much I missed Brian and I knew I was in love and had found my forever.
What advice would you give other Jdate members?
Don’t give up! I know online dating can feel like a job but don’t put so much pressure on yourself. Do not date until you have a great relationship with yourself.
I was on Jdate and other sites for about 8 years on and off before I met Brian. It wasn’t until I focused on myself and had a better relationship with myself when I attracted the right person for me.
Also, do not have so many rules about who you think you should end up with. I told myself I would never date a guy outside of NYC… then I got tired of the same guy who wouldn’t commit in the city and decided to message Brian who lived on Long Island. Be open.
